One of the benefits of buying too much food is that you have a lot of resources to experiment with. Yesterday morning, I started my journey into the land of culinary creations, successfully making a delicious batch of scrambled eggs and bacon. I convinced a few friends to come over with the promise of free food; they dived right into my cooking and, thankfully, had no complaints about any of it!
The only complaint all of us had was that the bacon was too salty; I think it was just the batch of bacon I picked up at the store, since I didn't add anything when I prepared them...I'll have to try another brand of bacon when I finish off this package.
Before you say, "oh gee, Matt, why are you proud of making something so simple?", I know scrambling eggs and cooking bacon isn't the most arduous of tasks. The truth is, my time spent over a stove has been limited, so I'll take my victories where I can thank you very much.
If you're in the area next weekend, come on over...I've decided to tackle another breakfast favorite, waffles! Oh crap, no I won't, I'm supposed to go to Biola University that weekend to meet a friend...well then, the waffles will have to just wait for the week after!
Ten. I can fit ten crackers into my mouth...
Wow, I feel accomplished!
